- The professor was looking at a old book which was more than 600 years old and it written by snorri sturlasson The book as fantastic and the professor kept opening and shutting the old book and talking about him self and the book was a translation of a famous Icelandic book
البروفيسور كان ينظر إلى كتاب قديم كان عمره أكثر من 600 عام، كتب بواسطة عالم أيسلندى قديم”Snorri Sturlasson”، الكتاب كان يعجب البروفيسور كثيراً، ظل يفتحه ويغلقه ويحث نفسه وذلك لأنه كان لايستطيع قراءة الكتاب، اعتقد أنه ترجمة للغة أيسلندية قديمة.

أثناء قراءة البروفيسور للكتاب القديم سقطت منه مخطوطة، حاول البروفيسور أن يقرئها لكنه لم يستطع، في بداية الأمر اعتقد انها كتبت بلغة حروف الهجاء الأيسلندية القديمة.

البروفيسور كان عالماً في مجال الجيولوجيا وهو علم يختص بطبقات الارض، كان يعطى محاضرات في جامعة هامبرج، يأتى إليه العالماء من مختلف أنحاء العالم كى يتعلموا منه.

- When his parents died، Axel came to live with his uncle، Professor lidenbrock and he was proud to be his assistant and he was the professor nephew
أكسل هو ابن اخ البروفيسور، جاء ليعيش معه عندما توفي والديه، كان فخور كونه مساعد البروفيسور.
