Vinicius Jr. will lead a special FIFA anti-racism committee made up of players

Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr. will lead a special FIFA anti-racism committee consisting of players.

“Enough is enough. There will be no more racism in football. Games should be immediately halted when it occurs,” said Infantino.

“We need to listen to the players and address their needs for a safer environment. We are taking this matter very seriously,” he added.

“We will implement strict and severe punishments to eradicate the problem of racism in football once and for all. As the President of FIFA, I felt it was important to personally discuss this with Vinicius.”

The decision was made by the FIFA President due to the increasing incidents of racism faced by many football players during matches.
