Microsoft’s Upcoming 24H2 Update for Windows 11: A Leap Forward in AI Integration and User Productivity
Microsoft is currently developing the 24H2 update, a significant upgrade set to be released for Windows 11 later this year, according to “Windows Central,” a site specializing in Microsoft-related news, the company plans to roll out the 24H2 update packed with numerous new features, instead of launching an entirely new Windows 12.
The update is reported to offer users enhanced performance, security improvements, and a wide array of features heavily relying on artificial intelligence to boost user productivity.
Rumors suggest that Microsoft may build the 24H2 update on an entirely new platform internally named “Gramanium,” primarily intended for new computers that comply with Microsoft’s standards.
Significant upgrades are expected for Microsoft’s AI assistant “Copilot” in Windows, including its expanded integration in applications and improved device search capabilities, surpassing traditional search methods.
There are also leaks suggesting that Microsoft is testing new features in the upcoming Windows 11 update, including a new power-saving mode to extend battery life, and other features in the Phone application allowing smartphones to be used as webcams and seamlessly connecting phones, especially Android devices, to computers.
Interestingly, Microsoft has also reconsidered its decision to stop introducing new features to Windows 10, adding some features previously exclusive to Windows 11, including the personal assistant Copilot.
