The star player Alvaréz scored in the first minute of the match, and then Nito scored an own goal in the 27th minute, ending the first half with Manchester City leading by two goals, Foden added the third goal in the 72nd minute of the second half, before Alvaréz scored the fourth goal for the Sky Blues in the 88th minute, securing the title for Manchester City Club.
It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly Club managed to win the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup 2023 after defeating Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan with a score of 4-2, earning the African Club of the Century its fourth bronze medal in its history at the Club World Cup.
