In a statement released on “X” platform (formerly Twitter), President el-Sisi emphasized that the Palestinian issue remains a core concern in Egypt’s national conscience, both at the state and public levels. The President assured continued backing on all fronts, firmly rejecting any attempts to undermine the Palestinian struggle.

Prime Minister Madbouly, addressing the Egyptian Parliament, reiterated the country’s commitment to its national security and the Palestinian cause. He underscored Egypt’s complete rejection of any displacement of Palestinians into Egyptian territories, deeming it a significant threat to the nation’s sovereignty.

Additionally, Egypt’s adherence to its peace treaty with Israel was reaffirmed, with an expectation of mutual respect from the Israeli side. The Prime Minister expressed grave concerns over the ongoing military operations in Gaza, warning of their potential to destabilize the entire region and escalate tensions.

The Rafah border crossing, a pivotal point between Egypt and Gaza, remains open on the Egyptian side. The Prime Minister attributed any impediments to the Israeli-controlled side, reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to facilitate movement and aid.

The Egyptian leadership also urged Palestinian resilience, emphasizing the importance of maintaining their presence on their land. The Sinai region was highlighted as a symbol of Egyptian sacrifice and heroism, reflecting the nation’s spirit of resilience and determination.

As the crisis in Gaza intensifies, Egypt’s role as a regional peace advocate and supporter of the Palestinian cause remains more crucial than ever.
