Unfathomable Tragedy: Egyptian Anesthesiologist Accused of Horrifically Slaying Elderly Parents in Alexandria Home

In an unsettling turn of events that has left Alexandria in a state of shock, an anesthesiologist is currently under arrest, accused of brutally murdering his elderly parents inside their apartment in the Faisal district. The Alexandria Security Directorate received a report from the Montaza First Police Department, stating that an elderly man and his wife were found dead in their home. Police and security forces immediately rushed to the crime scene, where they discovered the blood-soaked bodies of the elderly couple.

 

Initial investigations indicate that the perpetrator is their own son, who practices as an anesthesiologist. He was apprehended and taken into custody for questioning. It was revealed that the victims’ second son made the grim discovery, tipped off by a nurse who had been caring for the elderly couple.

Local media reports cite witnesses who claim that the accused immediately went to a nearby mosque after the incident and began emotionally reciting the call to prayer. Subsequently, he was reportedly heard muttering incoherent phrases.

The bodies have been moved to the morgue, and a formal report has been filed to commence further investigations into this horrifying event.
