Real Madrid Target Harry Kane as Ideal Benzema Replacement

Karim Benzema is leaving Real Madrid, and club officials and coaches already have a potential replacement in mind: Benzema’s departure does not come as a surprise to the Madrid club, which has been considering the possibility of finding a new center forward to fill the void left by their former captain.

The recent signing of Joselu is not directly related to Benzema’s departure. Joselu, currently a forward for Espanyol, will replace Mariano and serve as a complement to the chosen number nine. He will complete the squad and receive playing time, but his role will not be as a starter. Instead, he will fight for opportunities and make the most of them.

Harry Kane’s name has been discussed in several meetings held at Valdebebas in recent days. He is favored by both coach Carlo Ancelotti and the sports management team. The English striker is expected to deliver immediate results and continue playing at an elite level for at least three or four more seasons.

A significant difference from previous seasons regarding the English international is that, this time, Daniel Levy appears willing to negotiate, as long as Kane’s destination is not another Premier League team.

Real Madrid has already made initial contact with the player’s representatives and the London club. They are aware that Kane is open to starting a new adventure in LaLiga with the opportunity offered by the white team. News suggesting that he wanted to continue in the Premier League does not reflect reality, as the prospect of wearing the Madrid white jersey is especially motivating for him.

Levy is not an easy negotiator, as demonstrated by the cases of Modric and Bale. For a long time, Real Madrid did not want any dealings with Tottenham for this reason. However, circumstances have changed, and Kane’s potential arrival is no longer a pipe dream.

Another alternative mentioned in Valdebebas is Kai Havertz, a versatile player who can assume the forward position without it being his natural role. Accustomed to playing between lines, he is the perfect complement to a number nine. The issue for the Chelsea player is that the current team needs and the coach’s demands center around signing a pure striker following Benzema’s departure.
