In a recent announcement Saudi Arabian football club Al-Hilal has confirmed the signing of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou from Spanish club Sevilla during the current summer transfer window.
The news was shared by Al-Hilal through a video posted on their official Twitter account now known as “X”. According to Al-Riyadh newspaper Bounou is expected to arrive in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Friday morning for his official introduction as the new goalkeeper for Al-Hilal.
Bounou who recently played his last match for Sevilla against Manchester City in the 2023 European Super Cup, lost in a penalty shootout. The 32-year-old goalkeeper joined Sevilla from Girona in 2019 and has since participated in over 140 matches with the Andalusian team.
